Detained
Karim El Hakim spent the first days of the Arab Spring in Tahrir square filming the revolution as it unfolded on the streets of Egypt. On the first night of protests he was detained by the police. He told the story of what happened next at a live storytelling event at the True/False film festival where Karim’s film, 1/2 Revolution was screened.
